The SFFS/Film Arts Foundation Documentary Grant will award a total of $25,000 for documentary feature films in post-production. The letter of inquiry period for projects that are vibrant, intelligent, moving and innovative is now open and ends February 4, 2010.

San Francisco Film Society/KRF Filmmaking Grant

Letters of Inquiry due February 5

The SFFS/KRF Filmmaking Grants will award over $3 million in the course of five years to support narrative feature films that through plot, character, theme or setting significantly explores urgent social justice issues of our time. Applicants or films submitted for consideration must have a strong connection to the San Francisco Bay Area and uplift the Bay Area film community.

The letter of inquiry period for projects in screenwriting/script development, preproduction, production or postproduction is now open and ends February 5, 2010. A total of $190,000 will be disbursed for Spring 2010.
