B-Side Takes DiP Alum TRUST US

Alex Karpovsky’s TRUST US, THIS IS ALL MADE UP, which screened as a Doc-in-Progress back in September of last year, has been picked up for distribution by B-Side. You’re probably familiar with B-Side if you’ve gone to a film festival in the last couple years, as they do the back-end scheduling for over 200 festivals, including Fantastic Fest and the Austin Film Festival. tjandave

They’ve begun distributing films, too, like David Modigliani’s CRAWFORD and the Zach Galifianakis-starring VISIONEERS. Now, they’ve added to their slate Karpovsky’s “concert film” of a performance by the frankly mesmerizing long-form improvisation duo of TJ Jagodowski and David Pasquesi. The film premiered at SXSW earlier this year and has screened at festivals around the country since.

On their website, you can to find a screening of the film, host your own, pre-order the DVD and connect with all things TJ & Dave.

Speaking of B-Side, they will also be doing the back-end programming for the Clearwater Film Festival, which will debut Sept 29 - Oct 23, 2010 in Clearwater, Florida. The festival was founded by former Austin-resident Mike Rembis, who used to run the Austin Film Meet. Austin-based media company Humblebee Media will be doing marketing for the Clearwater Film Festival.
